Korzinka and the International Finance Corporation conducted a training on the topic “Basic requirements of the HACCP system”

Life of Korzinka

Korzinka, the largest retail chain in Uzbekistan, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, conducted another training as part of a joint project to ensure product quality and safety.

The first training took place from March 9 to 11 and was devoted to the basics of food safety.

The second training, held from October 3 to 5, focused on the basic requirements of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), a concept that allows companies to identify factors that can significantly affect product safety.

The main goal of such events is to continuously improve the safety of food products sold to the chain’s customers. This is a key element of maintaining competitiveness and a sustainable position in the market. It creates the foundation for business leadership and success.

Since 1992, HACCP principles have been widely implemented in Western Europe and the USA and are included in government regulations. This allows you to prevent, minimize and manage hazardous factors regarding the quality of the final product.

Korzinka pays great attention to HACCP because it can significantly reduce the risk of manufacturing and selling unsafe products.

32 employees of supermarkets, distribution centers, a packaging shop and a refrigeration complex took part in the training.

The ultimate goal of such activities is to ensure greater consumer confidence in the products manufactured and sold by the company.
